Sapphire Ball Lenses from Knight Optical
Sapphire ball lenses are available from 0.127mm up to 20.000mm (0.005” – 0.787”). They have a refractive index of 1.76. - more data. A sapphire ball lens has superior optical transmission qualities to that of the ruby lens, however ruby ball lenses are much easier to see thus easier to handle and work with for physical applications. All our sapphire ball lenses can be coated with an Anti-Reflective (AR) Coating.
